Batmobile Myths & Legends

Over the years, the Batmobile has been the subject of many, many rumors. Most are relatively short-lived: questions about a particular toy coming out in the near future, or what will be in the next movie are answered as soon as the event occurs, and it's time to move on to the next event.
Some myths are a bit more stubborn than others, though. Misinformation can come from myriad sources, but somehow works its way into the subconcious of fans everywhere and refuses to go away. Some of the more persistent rumors will be addressed here, with more to come in the future. If you have a question about the Batmobile but can't seem to find a straight answer, send me an e-mail and I'll see what I can do to find out the truth.
