Batmobile

From the designer:

"The car was completely repainted gloss black outside (it should be red, I know, but in my mind every Batmobile is black) and matt red inside; the front grille was rebuilt and every part of the model was detailed to have a more realistic look (door handles, tin exausts, aerials, etc.). The original ugly hard-plastic tires/wheels were replaced with first quality wire wheels and rubber tires. A 1939 Batman figure is at the wheel. Final touch: as the first comics cars had no masks or fins but a mascot, I added a bat on the hood. Silver made...nothing less, but nothing is too much for the caped crusader."
